The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Group

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of personalities, and a gripping narrative featuring divine entities, fiends, and dark forces growing in strength within the city.

Warning: Spoilers for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The latest chapter concluded with a major cliffhanger and introduced the first table of adventurers who will branch out from the central cast to undertake their separate journey, separate from the other two tables.

This warrior group includes the determined fighter (brought to life by Travis Willingham), Thimble (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Considering 13 cast members, it was clear from the beginning that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

That’s why, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Prelude, intertwining the individual narratives before splitting into three separate parties: Soldiers, Schemers, and Seekers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for participants who are drawn to a traditionally charged battle-oriented narrative style where peaceful solutions are scarce.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might look mismatched, but the actions of the third episode show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

First, the team has a clear idea where to proceed after a violent opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose demise started the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his own means, invading the secret base, attacking Thimble, and taking all the enchanted items to sell off.

The traitor then settled his debts and ran away to a secure base in the northern region, beyond the city, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each adventurer has a personal reason to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the companion and trusted friend, desires revenge.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the region and advises that it is a nasty place.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having defied his house’s orders to kill the fighter and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their reputation as key figures in the powerful family could help the group access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, Teor swore a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his deliverance and will now follow him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are sought by the powers that control the city for a multiple motives, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and Wicander defied House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This means them little choice but to travel to the remote area in pursuit of Casimir.

What’s Next?

According to the latest episode’s post-show segment, we discover that the combat party will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight cast members to form the Questers and Schemers parties.

Viewers can look forward to discovering which adventurers will be in which group in the story’s last Overture episode, available to watch on October 24.
